On a crisp October evening, the atmosphere at Siyane Toastmasters Club was electric as we gathered to commemorate the 99th Anniversary of Toastmasters International. Led by the radiant TM Madhumali Mudalige, our theme “Be a Diamond” was a reminder of the resilience and brilliance within each of us.
As we logged on to the virtual meeting room, there was a palpable sense of excitement and anticipation. We were not just here for another meeting; we were here to celebrate, to uplift, and to shine together.
Throughout the meeting, members embraced the theme wholeheartedly, sharing speeches, evaluations, and impromptu speeches that sparkled with authenticity and passion. Each contribution was like a facet of a diamond, adding depth and dimension to our gathering.
Amidst the festivities, we paused to pay tribute to Toastmasters International, a beacon of empowerment and growth for nearly a century. With smiles on our faces and gratitude in our hearts, we gathered around a cake, symbolizing our shared journey and commitment to personal and professional development.
