Recent Highlights
Siyane Athwela Book Donation Project
On December 16, 2023, Siyane Toastmasters Club initiated “Siyane Athwela,” a charity project donating books for Lumbini Primary School, Gampaha’s 2024 academic year. Club members raised funds for this noble cause. A joyful book donation ceremony included a talent show by Lumbini’s students, accompanied by treats and a visit from Santa Claus.
Siyane Aced at Division Stage
Mid-Year Joint Division Conference of Division J and Division F was held at CA Sri Lanka Colombo 7 on 19th November from 8 a.m onwards. SIyane Toastmasters club was represented in numbers at the Division Conference. TM Chamin Athauda was the Champion of Evaluation Speech Contest of Division F.

14th Installation Ceremony Groom to Bloom
The 14th Installation Ceremony of the Siyane Toastmasters Club took place on July 15, 2023, at the Nels De Mora Banquet Hall in Kalagedihena. The distinguished Keynote Speaker for the evening was Raiz Hassen. The ceremony, which saw the appointment of the new Executive Committee (Exco), was expertly conducted by the Installation Chair, TM Niluka Dissanayake.
TOGETHER WE - 2022 Installation Ceremony
The 13th installation ceremony of the Siyane Toastmasters Club was held on Sepetember 28 , 2022, at Nature Gardens Hotel, Yakkala. The theme of the installation ceremony was “TOGETHER WE,” which is the tagline of the executive committee of 2022/2023. The chief guest of the event was DTM Nisal Weerakoon- District 82 Director, DTM Mahinda Karunakara – Programme Quality Director and DTM Ganga Fernando- Club Growth Director. DTM Zameen M Saleem was the keynote speaker who delivered an inspiring speech. The event was enriched with two entertainment items, and it was great to witness a ballroom dance on the floor.
This is another success story of Siyane Toastmasters Club where we started the Speechcraft Program at Brandix Lingerie on 23rd of September, 2022. We had 25 energetic, enthusiastic and exciting individuals to embark the journey. This speechcraft program was coordinated by TM Himantha Tennakoon and we had a great support from DTM Nilantha Bandara to complete this program successfully.

Give Blood... Save a Life...
“Change” is a great blessing that brings in “new opportunities”, and “Leadership” is a privilege to “make this changing world a better place”. Siyane Toastmasters act with due care to support their community around. Organizing a blood donation drive was a fine example of Siyane Leadership in a Change world. It was held on the 16th of February 2022 at Saama Viharaya Gampaha. The donation campaign was an outstanding success with a massive turnout of selfless individuals who did not hesitate to donate their blood to help save another’s life.
Siyane Indoor Sports fiesta was initiated in 22nd of October, 2022 by TM Pubudu Ginige to boost the energy of our club members and to burn somr calories as well. We meet once in a month to play cricket and in every week to play badminton. This is one of a great move to build the team bond and friendship among our club members. Now not only the club members our family members also join us to play cricket and badminton. MAKRO Indoor Sports Arena is the place where we all meet and usually saturdays are allocated for Siyane Indoor Sports Fiesta. When it comes to Siyane culture, life become much happening and fun when our members are around us. We spread love, care, affection and protection among each member to move forward as a family.
